Jack Minor wants your best but he also needs your best to succeed.
Please consider donating generously. Jack needs the money for advertising, competing with candidates who receive much more support from their parties. The spending limit for the candidates in our riding is in 2021 over $100,000! Much of that comes out of your tax Dollar. But we did not receive any funding.
Donations up to CAD 1,275 significantly reduce the taxes you would otherwise pay through tax credits. All donations over CAD 20.00 will be evidenced by a receipt. The maximum donation allowed is CAD 1,650 per candidate or party. The amount eligible for Tax Credit is limited to the aformentioned CAD 1,275 for the sum of all donations over the tax year to all recipients.
To make the tax effect more simple to assess here is a sample table without warranty as we can not provide tax advice here. There is no link in the column "Donate" as we do not want to depend on paypal and the like.
Please make your donation per InterAc e-transfer to donations(at)jack-minor.ca. As password please use "SaveCan999" where "999" stands for the last three digits of your phone number. Please send your phone number as well as your name and address to armin(at)jack-minor.ca. This may look a bit confusing, but it actually is very simple and we get the full amount of your donation securely, fully and right away.
|Donate||Tax Credit||%ITC||Actual Cost|
The % Tax Credit shown is for the incremental value of the donation compared to the previous line
Please note that donations to a candidate that are neither received nor in transit on election day do not qualify for a Non-Refundable Income Tax Credit. However donations to a political party do qualify even after election day. So please donate to the People's Party of Canada on its website if you read this outside an election period.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for your support!
P.S.: Please note that in 2021 you can donate up to $1,650 both to a party and a candidate or riding assoociation. Your maximum possible tax credit for the year however is only that corresponding to a total of all donations of $ 1,275 as shown in the table above.
It is your responsibility to make sure you know the potential benefits under the Income Tax Act and that you comply with the provisions of the Election Act , which is actually much more complicated than shown here, because you can for example donate to multiple parties or candidate campaignes and or riding associations.
